International Prostitutes Collective Since 1975, the International Prostitutes Collective has been campaigning for the abolition of the prostitution laws which criminalize sex workers and our families, and for economic alternatives and higher benefits and wages. No woman, child or man should be forced by poverty or violence into sex with anyone. We provide information, help and support to individual prostitute women and others who are concerned with sex workers’ human, civil, legal and economic rights. Hydra The prostitutes’ project by the name of HYDRA has been in existence since 1980. Prostitutes and non-prositutes are working together in this project. The main aim of our work is to put an end to the social and legal discrimination of prostitutes and to get prostitution recognized as a profession. Rode Draad The Red Thread was founded in 1985 by (ex) sexworkers with the aim to fight the rights of all sexworkers, who work in the Netherlands, whether male, female, Dutch or foreign. ENMP European network for male prostitution. The ENMP intents to stimulate, develop and improve proper health and social services, which contribute to the needs and well-being of MSW’s. EMPOWER EMPOWER (Education Means Protection Of Women Engaged in Recreation) or Moolniti Songserm Okard Pooying is a non-profit community organisation in Thailand that supportssex workers. EMPOWER was founded in 1985 by Chantawipa Apisuk; she still runs the head office in Nonthaburi Province. The organisation maintains main offices in Patpong (Bangkok), Chiang Mai, Mae Sai og Phuket. EMPOWER publishes a Thai language newsletter called "Bad Girls" which allows sex workers to express themselves. The organisation also lobbies the government in an attempt to extend regular labour protections to sex workers. HIPS HIPS promotes the health, rights, and dignity of individuals and communities impacted by sexual exchange and/or drug use due to choice, coercion, or circumstance. APNSW Asia Pacific Network of Sex Workers NSWP Network of sex work projects In 1991 an informal alliance of sex workers and organizations that provide services to sex workers formed as the Network of Sex Work Projects. NSWP is a legally constituted international organisation for promoting sex workers' health and human rights. With member organizations in more than 40 countries, the Network develops partnerships with technical support agencies to work on independently-financed projects. Durbar Mahila Samanwaya Committee The Durbar is a collectivization of 65000 sex workers, functions as an exclusive forum of female, male and transgender sex workers in West Bengal, India. The New Zealand Prostitutes Collective (NZPC) The New Zealand Prostitutes Collective (NZPC) was formed in 1987 by sex workers as an organisation determined to seek equal rights for sex workers. SWING SWING - Service workers in group, works with sex workers of all genders, cultures and nationalities, across three (3) peer-led drop-in centers in tourist "hot-spots" of Thailand. Scarlet Alliance Australian Sex Workers Association Scarlet Alliance is the national peak sex worker organisation in Australia. Stella Stella was created in 1995 through the initiative of a handful of sex-workers, public-health researchers and sympathisers. Bayswan Bayswan work with male, female and transgender sex workers, clients, third parties, families, partners and friends, arts aficionados, health workers, activists, general public, artists and formal sex workers. POWER POWER (Prostitutes of Ottawa-Gatineau Work Educate & Resist) is a non-profit, voluntary organization founded on February 17th, 2008. SWOP-USA SWOP-USA work with all people who identify as sex workers and their communities, including all genders, age groups and racial identities. Desiree Alliance The Desiree Alliance is a social justice-based organization led by current and former sex workers, in partnership with organizations, communities, and individuals across the U.S. working in harm reduction, direct services, political advocacy, and health services for sex workers. Maggie's Maggie's: The Toronto Sex Workers Action Project is an organization run for and by local sex workers. SWEAT SWEAT is a registered non-profit organisation, based in Cape Town, South Africa but working nationally. SWEAT advocate for the human rights of sex workers and the decriminalisation of sex work, and offer services to sex workers. STRASS STRASS Is A trade union for male, female and transgender sex workers. HOPS (Healthy Options Project Skopje) HOPS provides direct health, social and legal services to female, male and transgender sex workers, clients, partners, families and children of sex workers. SCOT-PEP SCOT-PEP works with all sex workers in Scotland, including female and transgender sex workers. KAST Norge tilbyr sexologisk rådgiving, smitteveiledning og smittesjekk i våre lokaler i Akersgaten 16. KAST tilbyr også veiledning på chat, telefon og SMS. Krisesentersekretariatets ROSA-prosjekt Krisesentersekretariatets prosjekt ROSA informerer om rettigheter og trygge bosteder for personer som har vært utsatt for menneskehandel. ROSA har en døgnåpen informasjonstelefon og nettside. Redd Barna Redd Barna er en del av en internasjonal Redd Barna-allianse som kjemper for barns rettigheter i mer enn 120 land. Justis- og politidepartementet Justis- og politidepartementet koordinerer arbeidet med Regjeringens handlingsplan mot menneskehandel. Utenriksdepartementet Utenriksdepartementet har egne nettsider om menneskehandel. Likestillings- og diskrimineringsombudet Likestillings- og diskrimineringsombudet er et offentlig apparat som skal bekjempe diskriminering og fremme likestilling. Reform Ressurssenter for menn skal bistå menn som er i en vanskelig livssituasjon; bidra til å bedre menns levekår og livskvalitet; øke menns reelle valgmuligheter og bidra til å ivareta og utvikle mangfoldet i menns liv; dokumentere og formidle kunnskap om menns livssituasjon. PROGEMI Prostitution, Gender and Migration is a multidisiplinary research project funded by the Norwegian Research Council under the FRISAM programme (for basic social science research). PROGEMI runs for 4 years, from July 2006 thru June 2010. FEMINORE Feminine Migration in Northern Europe. FEMINORE is a cross-sectoral research network funded under the Nordplus Neighbour programme 2005 - 2006, from the Nordic Council of Ministers. The aim of the network is to bring together existing national research and practical NGO experience on female migration from North-West Russia and the Baltic countries to the Nordic countries, with special focus on marriage, sex work and domestic work. Norsk institutt for forskning om oppvekst, velferd og aldring (NOVA) NOVA er et statlig sosialforskningsinstitutt som blant annet har foretatt forskning på unge i prostitusjonen. Research For Sexwork Research for Sex Work is an annual journal dedicated to the topic of research on sex work. It aims to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, experiences, observations and research results with regards to sex work and HIV prevention in the broader framework of health and human rights. Videns- og formidlingscenter for socialt udsatte Videns- og formidlingscenter for socialt udsatte er en selveid institusjon under Socialministeriet i Danmark som blant annet har foretatt forskning på mannlig prostitusjon og kunder. Nasjonalt folkehelseinstitutt Nasjonalt folkehelseinstitutt arbeider for å bedre befolkningens helse via å styrke det forebyggende helsearbeidet. Helsedirektoratet Sosial- og helsedirektoratet er et fagdirektorat og en del av den sentrale sosial- og helseforvaltningen som arbeider for å bedre befolkningens fysiske og psykiske helse. HivNorge HivNorge er en landsomfattende organisasjon som ivaretar hivpositives rettigheter og interesser i samfunnet, og som jobber med forebygging av hiv og aids. Helseutvalget for homofile Helseutvalget for homofile arbeider med helsespørsmål rundt menn som har sex med menn og kvinner som har sex med kvinner. Helsetilsynet Helsetilsynet er et statlig tilsyn med sosial- og helsetjenestene. Doktor Online Doktor Online er et helsenettsted hvor man kan sende inn spørsmål til fagpersoner, eller delta i diskusjonsforum. Lommelegen.no Lommelegen.no er et nettsted om helse. Fagpersoner besvarer spørsmål, og man kan delta i diskusjonsforum. KSO - Klinikk for seksuell opplysning Tilbyr informasjon og veiledning til ungdom om seksualitet. SUSS - Senter for ungdom, samliv og seksualitet Stiftelsen SUSS gir rådgivning om seksualitet til ungdom og fagpersoner som arbeider med barn og ungdom. RFSU (Riksförbundet för sexuell upplysning) RFSU i Sverige gir blant annet rådgivning og informasjon om seksualitet, prevensjon og seksuelt overførbare sykdommer.
